This remarkable 500-square-meter (5381 ft²) country house, was fully restored in 2020, by Chef Gilles Dudognon and his partner Aude. It offers outstanding and exclusive 5-star services. Its 1-acre park features an 18-meter-long heated swimming pool.
In the former 12th-century canteen of the "Carmes" convent, La Table du Couvent's grand stone fireplace, where the Head Chef still cooks today, offers a traditional cuisine where products, such as côtes de bœuf, flank or rib steaks (cured on site), are still grilled in the hearth, next to simmering Dutch ovens. In the room next door, the former sacristy, an open-kitchen concept welcomes guests into a unique and historical dining room.
Le Maison du Fromage, renowned and oldest cheese shop in Limoges, reopened in November 2020, following Madame Garot's footsteps and legacy. The shop first opened in 1935 and cheese lovers have since be able to discover a selection of the best French, but also foreign, artisan cheeses and gourmet products.
The shop also features an incredible cave, over 3 levels, where the temperature never goes above 10°C.
