An idyllic and indulgent holiday
A complete renovation project has restored life to this impressive 12th-century French 'Clos'. On the site of a former castle, Le Château de Veyrac, the tower and moat were rebuilt after the French Revolution.
The vast three-storey house, 1-acre park and centuries-old trees lead to Le Pont Colombier, a listed Historic Monument, unique in France and Europe. This building has been part of the estate for the past 4 centuries and can be found, still standing proudly, at the bottom of the park.
This unique property in Haute-Vienne was formerly owned by the same family since 1770 and was restored to the highest standards. The house features a grand 50-square-meter dining room; with high ceilings, wooden panels and a decorative fireplace; a fully equipped professional kitchen with Gaggeneau appliances as well as an 18-meter-long heated swimming pool.
Le Clos Colombier, which comprises 2 bedrooms and 3 two-bedroom suites, can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests. The property can be privatised for a minimum of 7 days.
